Michael R. Lloyd is an Associate in the firm’s Environmental and Energy, Renewables and Utilities departments.  He represents regulated Energy, Renewables and Utilities clients in a variety of matters before the New York Public Service Commission.  Michael counsels clients on regulatory compliance and environmental and energy matters.  His practice includes representing clients in complex rate proceedings.

Michael also advises clients regarding state and federal clean air laws and regulations, petroleum discharge laws, and facility permitting.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was an Associate Counsel with the New York State Assembly Office of Program and Counsel, where he worked on legislation related to environmental and energy issues, including the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and the Accelerated Renewable Energy Growth and Community Benefit Act.
