Dina L. Vespia is a partner in the firm’s Corporate department and a member of the firm’s Higher Education and Not-for-Profit and Religious Organizations practice groups. Dina also serves as chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

Dina advises educational institutions, including high schools, colleges, and universities, and other not-for-profit organizations on a wide variety of legal matters. This includes federal and state regulatory compliance (e.g., Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, New York Education Law Article 129-B); accreditation and recertification; academic affairs; student and residential life issues; student financial aid; policy development and implementation; discrimination and accommodations; internal grievance and disciplinary procedures; campus safety and security (e.g., the Clery Act); contract drafting, review, and negotiation; and governance.

Dina’s practice also includes entity formations, the drafting, review, and negotiation of construction contracts, and other general corporate matters.
