Cullen and Dykman Grows Construction Litigation Practice with Olivia M. Gross

Garden City, NY – March 3, 2020 -- Cullen and Dykman, one of the Northeast region’s most well-renowned law firms, is pleased to announce the addition of partner Olivia M. Gross to its construction and insurance coverage litigation practice.  Ms. Gross joins from New York-based Newman Myers Kreines Gross Harris, P.C.

Ms. Gross is a recognized authority in New York insurance coverage litigation and appellate practice with expertise across a wide spectrum of claims defense work, including construction, labor law claims and related risk transfer. She is also a skillful negotiator and mediator actively involved in premises liability, construction and insurance coverage litigation.

Ms. Gross frequently lectures on premises liability, accident prevention, claims investigation, indemnification, insurance coverage and defense strategy. For decades, she was also involved in municipal liability. She has been responsible for several seminal appellate decisions including antisubrogation and horizontal exhaustion issues and sole proximate cause as a defense to absolute liability claims.

Ms. Gross has litigated many declaratory judgment actions in the state and federal courts and has been responsible for numerous risk transfers and indemnity recoveries in insurance litigation. She also negotiates policy endorsements on behalf of insureds and recommends insurance policy language to insurer clients.
