Cullen and Dykman Continues Expansion with New Newark Office

November 30, 2016

Cullen and Dykman continues to expand its presence in New Jersey with the opening of a new full-service office in Newark.  As one of the region’s leading general practice law firms, Cullen and Dykman is pleased to open their new 9,300 square-foot office in the prestigious Newark Legal Center, also known as One Riverfront Plaza.  The move to Newark’s revitalized business district signifies the firm’s sustained growth in New Jersey, complementing their offices in Hackensack and Princeton which host the former Sokol Behot LLP attorneys who joined the firm earlier this year.

Cullen and Dykman’s New Jersey roster now includes 23 attorneys.  The remainder of the firm’s staff, in excess of 150 attorneys and an additional 168 employees, will continue working from offices on Wall Street and Long Island, and in the state and national capitals in Albany and Washington, DC.  The expansion of the law firm to Newark will allow for the firm to better serve its current New Jersey clients and more efficiently handle the transactional, litigation and regulatory work for these clients and future clients as the firm continues to grow.

“The addition of a full service office in Newark reflects the firm’s commitment to grow and expand, and serve our clients in their communities, throughout the region” said Christopher H. Palmer, Managing Partner of Cullen and Dykman.  “Our new location in the heart of Newark’s business district is directly connected to Newark Penn Station and within easy access of most major NJ roadways,”

Seeking to focus on its core strength practice groups, Cullen and Dykman has relocated attorneys and staff with Banking, Commercial and Tort Litigation, Energy and Utilities, Corporate and New Jersey Real Estate expertise. Steven J. Robinson, a partner at Cullen and Dykman with nearly 30 years’ experience and who is a 1986 graduate of Seton Hall Law School, has been selected to manage the firm’s Newark office.  Neil Yoskin will continue to manage the Princeton office, while Leon Sokol will remain in his current role involved in the overall management of the New Jersey practice.

“Our strong client relationships and our objective of providing them with superior legal service at a reasonable cost structure are driving our growth,” said Palmer.  “With this addition to our existing offices, Cullen and Dykman’s expansion is being fueled by our valued clients who have supported our growth.  Our reputation and skilled attorneys will allow us to capitalize on additional opportunities in the Garden State.”

Cullen and Dykman can be reached at their new Newark location at 973.849.0220.
