Associates Ryan Spitz and Danielle Blaustein Secure Summary Judgment Dismissing Premises Liability Action

Associates Ryan Spitz and Danielle Blaustein successfully obtained summary judgment dismissing the plaintiff’s complaint against the firm’s clients in a premises liability action. The Court granted motions for reargument and, upon reargument, granted summary judgment in favor of the firm’s clients.  Ryan and Danielle submitted an expert affidavit finding that there was no defect at the property, and the plaintiff did not provide evidence showing that a defective condition existed.

As a result, the plaintiff’s complaint was dismissed in its entirety. The motion papers were prepared by Ryan Spitz and argued by Danielle Blaustein.
