Michael L. Dornbaum is a partner in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services department. He represents banks and other commercial lenders in secured and unsecured lending matters, including agented and multi-bank transactions. He also has extensive experience in lending transactions involving government agency assistance, including industrial development revenue bond transactions, Industrial Development Agency (IDA) "straight lease" transactions, loans involving the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. In addition, Michael has significant experience in loan workouts and restructurings, and he has represented numerous clients in construction lending and commercial leasing transactions. Michael also closes significant numbers of construction and commercial real estate loans, including loans for shopping centers, office, industrial buildings, and apartment buildings.

Michael is a commercial arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and serves on the organization’s the Large, Complex Commercial Disputes Panel.
