Kevin Patterson is a partner in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services department. He represents banks and other financial institutions regarding legal and regulatory compliance issues as well as the operational implementation of legal and regulatory requirements. Kevin has particular experience in the area of electronic delivery of financial services, having served as primary counsel for the establishment and regular operations of several online banking services – including mobile banking services, text banking, and wireless browsers. Kevin’s practice also includes representing clients in software licensing, outsourcing, and other complex technology transactions.

Kevin has extensive experience in the financial services industry. He previously served as Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Officer at Crossland Savings, Associate General Counsel at Republic National Bank of New York, Senior Counsel for information technology, operations and sourcing at GE Capital, and, Associate General Counsel at TIAA-CREF Trust Company, FSB. He also spent more than ten years at Citibank, where he supported retail banking and was responsible for the development and regular operations of Citibank Online, including Citi Mobile. In addition, he served as General Counsel to Citigroup’s software development and technology affiliate, Citicorp Services.
