Anna Chen is a partner in Cullen and Dykman's Banking and Real Estate department, where she advises lenders, borrowers, and nonprofit organizations on a broad range of commercial real estate and financing transactions. She is particularly experienced in representing religious institutions and not-for-profit entities in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and development of real property located across New York City’s five boroughs, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley, including Westchester, Orange, Dutchess, and Rockland counties, as well as related corporate governance matters.
Ms. Chen regularly counsels clients on complex real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leasing arrangements, license agreements, and construction-related agreements, including architectural services agreements, AIA construction contracts, consultant agreements, and access agreements. She also represents both institutional lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions, with a focus on real estate finance.
Drawing on her combined experience in real estate and finance, Ms. Chen provides practical, business-oriented guidance to clients navigating transactional and operational considerations. She frequently advises nonprofit and religious organizations on structuring transactions to align with their organizational and governance needs.
