What made you interested in law as a Career?
Coming from an immigrant community, I realized from a young age that there was a lack of representation. I have seen the consequences of not having advocates who understand your perspective enough to represent your interests. I think I was probably in high school when I decided I wanted to be that advocate. Fast forward a decade and here I am.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Exploring new places around the City.
What made you want to apply to Cullen and Dykman’s Summer Associate Program?
I had the opportunity to spend last summer here as a Long Island Diversity Fellow. Even though the program was primarily remote due to the pandemic, I could feel the firm’s warm culture. There were so many people who cared about providing me the best summer experience possible. I knew I wanted to come back because this is a firm that will help me grow into the attorney I would like to become.
What have you enjoyed most about Cullen and Dykman’s program so far?
Definitely axe-throwing and archery social event in Albany.
What academic/professional achievement are you most proud of?
Last year, I received the highest grade in the clinic I was a part, the Immigration Litigation Clinic.

What advice do you have for prospective Summer Associates?
Take full advantage of everything during your summer! Learn about all the practice areas that you are even remotely interested in. There are so many attorneys who love giving advice; ask questions and listen closely.
