Co-authors of the New York Law Journal's Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Column, David Wilkes and Kevin Clyne, have published an article titled "The Costs of Getting and Keeping Tenants Cannot be Ignored in Determining Property Tax Assessment Value." In this piece, they discuss the challenges in advocating for owners regarding assessors notion of maximizing rent unrealistically while minimizing significant costs required to get and keep tenants.
