Cullen and Dykman Represents Kimco Realty Corporation on Alamo Drafthouse Lease in Staten Island, New York
June 9, 2017Cullen and Dykman has completed a major lease for Kimco Realty Corporation that will bring an Alamo Drafthouse movie theater and restaurant to Staten Island, New York. The lease, for over 41,000 square feet, was the second largest retail lease in New York City in May.
Alamo Drafthouse is a Texas-based chain that offers dining and cocktails as part of the movie-going experience. The new theatre is part of Kimco’s $150 million redevelopment of Hylan Plaza in Staten Island’s New Dorp community. The redeveloped center, to be called the Boulevard, will be home to approximately 60 retailers in a multi-level "Main Street" format.
