Cullen and Dykman Elects Two New Partners From Litigation and Banking Practices

Garden City and Albany, NY - Cullen and Dykman LLP is proud to commence its 170th year by announcing the promotion of Elizabeth Murphy and Nicholas Faso to Partner.

Liz Murphy serves in the banking practice in Garden City, handling regulatory and compliance matters. She provides counsel on issues involving cybersecurity, truth-in-lending, electronic banking and lending limits. Liz works regularly with state and federal regulatory agencies and advises financial institutions on bank operations, including reviewing subpoenas, restraining notices, powers of attorney and trust agreements. In addition, she represents landlords and tenants in commercial leases. Liz recently assisted clients in navigating the complexities of providing financial services to cannabis-related businesses, as well as compliance with evolving privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations.

Nick Faso, who served as of counsel to the firm in Albany in the litigation practice, represents businesses, not-for-profits, municipalities and individuals in all phases of dispute resolution, including litigation avoidance, settlement negotiations, litigation in state and federal court, appeals and alternative dispute resolution. Nick has a broad range of experience in matters involving commercial and contract disputes, shareholder claims, business divorces and partnership disputes, employment claims, construction claims, trust and estate disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair business practices, breach of non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and proceedings against governmental entities involving land use, development and other agency determinations.
