Attorneys Michael H. Traison, Bozena M. Diaz and Michael Kwiatkowski in the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights department, will be exchanging ideas and comparing and contrasting the two countries' laws with Polish lawyers on a Webinar panel hosted by Kancelaria Prawna Skarbiec located in Warsaw, Poland. The session titled, "Insolvency and Officer and Board Member Liability in the US and Poland," is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th from 9:00 am to 10:30am ET. It is aimed at business leaders and attorneys with interests in Poland and the USA.

Michael H. Traison is a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights department. He focuses his practice in the areas of restructuring and insolvency, commercial law, and international law. Michael has represented corporate clients in commercial matters for more than 40 years, and he is a widely-recognized leader in helping businesses resolve complex legal issues.

Bozena M. Diaz is the chair of the firm’s Tax Department and a member of the Corporate and Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice groups. Her experience includes advising on the federal income tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs and other divestitures. Her capability also encompasses tax advice with respect to business and real estate joint ventures, restructurings and workouts, and taxable and tax-free reorganizations. 

Michael Kwiatkowski is Of Counsel in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice group. Michael advises and represents a wide variety of creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy, including corporate reorganization, bankruptcy-related litigation, creditors’ rights, and out of court debt restructuring. He also has extensive experience in representing financial institutions in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
