Neil Yoskin Successfully Obtained Denial of Temporary Injunctive Relief in a Case of First Impression as Reported by TIME

January 13, 2023

Neil Yoskin of Cullen and Dykman LLP successfully obtained a denial of temporary injunctive relief in a case of first impression as reported by TIME. Mr. Yoskin, as environmental counsel for the City of North Wildwood, had previously led the City’s efforts in seeking an “Emergency Authorization” from the NJDEP to build a bulkhead to provide North Wildwood with severely needed coastal protection.  The NJDEP denied the City’s Emergency Authorization application and then instituted a lawsuit seeking to, among other things, temporarily enjoin North Wildwood from building the emergency bulkhead.  The firm opposed the application for temporary injunctive relief and, ultimately, the court denied the NJDEP’s application.  The case has garnered national media attention due to the public’s growing concern about climate change.
