Patricia E. Russo-Owen is a partner in Cullen and Dykman’s Banking and Financial Services department. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, where she represents financial institutions in complex secured lending and real estate finance transactions.
Ms. Russo-Owen works with national banks, regional banks, community banks and non-traditional lenders on a wide variety of matters, including commercial loans, construction loans and asset-based loans, ranging in size from $2MM to $75MM. Her extensive experience in commercial finance has included representing clients on transactions secured by multi-family and commercial real estate across New York, New Jersey, Florida, Texas and various other jurisdictions. She also regularly advises clients on loan syndications, lender participations, and the purchase and sale of loans.
Her practice includes drafting and negotiating loan documentation for institutional lenders, as well as advising clients in loan restructurings, workouts, and the disposition of bank-owned assets. She also counsels clients on loan modifications and foreclosure-related matters.
With more than twenty years of experience, Ms. Russo-Owen brings a practical, solutions-oriented perspective informed by her previous experience in commercial foreclosure litigation, with a focus on real estate and lending disputes in New York and New Jersey.
She is known for delivering efficient, business-focused guidance to financial institutions across the full lifecycle of lending transactions.
