Kenneth S. Buffaloe is a senior partner in the firm’s General Liability, Tort and Insurance Defense department. Kenneth represents clients in all aspects of tort litigation involving premises liability accidents, construction site accidents, fire damage and transportation. Kenneth has represented clients in more than 165 trials, tried more than 80 cases to verdict and selected approximately 260 juries in various venues. As the head of the trial team, he is involved in the development of defense strategy as we prepare each case for potential trial.
Kenneth also has appellate and federal court experience, having authored and argued a number of appeals in the First and Second Appellate Divisions and representing a utility company in a high exposure federal case.
Kenneth began his career with the firm in 1998, after serving as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York working in the Tort Division - Manhattan Trial Unit where he represented a variety of municipal governmental agencies and subdivisions, including New York City Police Department; New York Fire Department; and the Department of Buildings. After joining the firm, Kenneth defended private individuals, home owners, contractors, manufacturers, municipal entities, and utility companies against various litigation claims, including numerous large-exposure accidents with catastrophic injuries.
