Amie Kalac is a partner in the firm’s environmental department. For nearly twenty years, she has devoted her practice to representing clients in environmental, toxic tort and products liability matters before various federal, state and local regulatory agencies and courts. 

Litigation, Regulatory and Transactional Matters

Amie has represented corporate, municipal, and individual clients in environmental law matters involving the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and the New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act (Spill Act), among others. She has counseled clients with regard to: meeting the requirements of relevant federal and state environmental statutes; environmental and land use permitting; regulatory compliance and enforcement matters; real estate transactions; and professional negligence. She has also assisted clients on issues related to environmental insurance coverage.

Toxic Tort and Products Liability Matters

Amie also has experience in representing clients in toxic tort and products liability matters. She has represented clients in New Jersey on matters involving claims for damages related to exposure to environmental conditions and to products alleged to be defective.
