The Regional Meeting focuses on recent issues in higher education with a specific focus towards finance, facilities, communications, human resources, provosts, enrollment, and presidents. CICU was founded in 1956 by a small group of private, not-for-profit college and university presidents and has grown to represent the public policy interests of the chief executives of more than 100 independent colleges and universities across New York State.
