Wendy D. Forrest is a partner in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Department.  She represents institutional and private lenders in a wide range of commercial financing transactions nationwide, secured by a variety of asset types, including office buildings, retail shopping centers, hotels, multifamily residential properties, and mixed-use developments.  Her practice includes acquisition and construction loans, leasehold financing, multi-lender participations and syndicated loans, loan-on-loan structures, interest rate swap transactions, mezzanine financing, commercial and industrial lending, and asset-based lending.

Wendy has substantial experience in the restructuring of distressed loans, including the negotiation and drafting of loan modifications and forbearance agreements. She also has advised lenders on individual and portfolio loan sales.

In addition to her finance practice, Wendy represents national tenants and major landlords in office, retail, industrial, and warehouse leasing transactions. She also counsels public and private companies, as well as real estate developers, in connection with the acquisition and sale of hotels and commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.
