Virginia A. Blabey is an associate in Cullen and Dykman’s Banking and Financial Services department. She focuses her practices in the areas of securitized lending, including agency lending, equipment finance and asset-based lending, involving both real and personal property.  She represents financial institutions and lenders in a broad range of commercial finance transactions. She has extensive experience in complex multi-state real estate purchase and sale transactions and related financing and in structuring and documenting equipment loan and lease transactions involving specialized equipment, including aircraft, railcars, titled vehicles, and solar equipment.

In her practice, she is responsible for handling transactions from structuring through closing, and post-closing, including resolving of transactions specific complexities and roadblocks, communicating and negotiating with transaction parties, collecting and reviewing all necessary deliverables, negotiating and documenting transactions in accordance with term sheets and credit approvals, and managing closings.

Drawing on her prior experience in the Global Finance group of a large New York firm, she brings a strong foundation in complex project and infrastructure finance to her practice. She provides practical, business-oriented guidance in structuring, negotiating, and closing sophisticated financing transactions.
