Kristen M. Painter

Kristen M. Painter is an associate in Cullen and Dykman’s Banking and Financial Services department, where she represents institutional lenders in a wide range of commercial lending and real estate finance transactions.

Ms. Painter advises clients on loans secured by multi-family and commercial real estate, concentrating primarily in the field of securitized lending, capital markets and agency lending.  Ms. Painter’s practice also includes negotiating loan documentation, advising on loan modifications, and representing lenders in loan sales, restructurings, workouts, and dispositions of bank-owned assets.

In addition to her transactional work, Ms. Painter has experience handling foreclosures and commercial lending disputes and counseling clients on bank regulatory matters. Her combined transactional and litigation background enables her to provide practical, business-oriented advice throughout the lifecycle of a transaction.

Ms. Painter works with banks and non-bank lenders to structure and execute financing solutions tailored to their business objectives.
