Kathleen Loy is an associate in Cullen and Dykman’s Banking and Financial Services Department, where she focuses her practice on commercial finance and real estate transactions.

Kathleen assists financial institutions in connection with commercial lending matters, including real estate finance, loan workouts, and purchase and sale transactions. She supports clients in the structuring, documentation, and closing of transactions secured by commercial real estate including multifamily residential properties, mixed-use developments, office buildings and more. She helps clients work with borrowers to not only originate loans, but payoff existing loans and modify terms of other distressed individual and portfolio loans.

Kathleen participated in Cullen and Dykman’s Summer Associate Program, and prior to joining the firm, gained experience at a real estate and bankruptcy law firm. Before her legal career, she worked at a broker-dealer as a registered broker, providing her with additional insight into financial markets and client needs.
