Douglas J. Bohn is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation department. An experienced trial attorney, Douglas has litigated cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States. He also has considerable experience briefing and arguing appellate cases in federal and state courts of appeal.
Douglas’s practice areas include commercial and utilities litigation, business disputes, professional liability claims, constitutional law, banking, and real estate. He regularly handles cases involving contract disputes, construction projects, environmental claims, employment issues, mortgage disputes, foreclosures, commercial and residential lending, partnership law, civil rights, and municipal issues.
Douglas also has significant experience in mass tort and product liability cases, which includes serving as national liaison counsel in industry-wide liability lawsuits and other tort and insurance defense matters. In addition to representing clients in trial and appellate litigation, Douglas also counsels clients regarding risk management and avoidance. Further, he has significant experience in mediation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings nationwide.
