Brikena is an associate in the Construction Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on a wide range of matters, including personal injury, construction litigation and labor law, premises liability, and general negligence matters. Prior to joining Cullen, Brikena worked as an Associate at New York City-based firm specializing in construction, premises, labor law and Workers Compensation.

Brikena graduated from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While in law school, Brikena served as the research editor for the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), was one of the seven students chosen to participate in Hofstra’s prestigious immigration clinic and won the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra Public Service Award.

Prior to law school, Brikena spent several years working in the consumer fraud department of the New York State Attorney General, the Kosovo Consulate and interned for a New York Supreme Court Appellate Division judge Sharon A.M. Aarons. Brikena is also fluent in Albanian.
