Partner Gary P. Muhlstock Secured Major Legal Victory for Nassau County Retirees

Partner Gary P. Muhlstock recently secured a significant legal victory on behalf of more than 1,200 Nassau County retirees who were formerly represented by CSEA Local 830.

In response to an attempted change to retiree health benefits, Gary, alongside co-counsel Adam Cohen, represented the Nassau Retirees Legal Fund in a complex, 18-month legal challenge. The case focused on protecting long-standing contractual rights related to retiree health coverage.

The legal team successfully preserved the health benefits these retirees earned through decades of dedicated public service. A restraining order was secured early in the process, and the team ultimately prevailed in ensuring that the promised benefits remained intact.
