Julia Merani Successfully Obtained Summary Judgment Dismissing the Plaintiff’s Complaint Against the Firm’s Client in a Personal Injury Case

Associate Julia Merani secured summary judgment in a slip-and-fall case on behalf of the firm’s client. The plaintiff alleged he slipped on a wet floor from a leaking refrigerator in the basement cafeteria. 

Julia demonstrated that, under the governing agreement, our client did not assume or displace the other party's duty to maintain the premises in a safe condition. This distinction proved central to the defense and ultimate outcome.
