Cullen and Dykman Welcomes Partner Bozena M. Diaz to its Growing NY Corporate Department

New York, NY – September 13, 2021 – Growing northeast regional law firm Cullen and Dykman welcomes Bozena (“Bonnie”) M. Diaz as Partner in its Corporate Department in the New York office.

Bonnie’s practice involves representing clients in tax planning, tax strategy and other tax advisory services. She regularly advises clients with respect to the formation of limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations and not-for-profit institutions. She also counsels clients on issues related to acquisitions, divestitures and business and real estate joint ventures.

Bonnie advises on the tax aspects of renewable energy projects and has experience handling tax controversy matters and representation of clients before the IRS.

Bonnie counsels clients on all aspects of employee benefits, as well as on issues of ERISA fiduciary responsibilities and benefits issues that arise in connection with merger and acquisition and joint venture transactions. She also advises with respect to structuring nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements and equity compensation plans and in negotiating and drafting employment and severance agreements.

Bonnie joins from New Jersey-based Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC.

Bonnie is an executive committee Member of the Tax Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association’s International Tax Committee and the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association.

She received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She is a recognized and frequent speaker and author on Qualified Opportunity Zones.
