Cullen and Dykman Enhances Tax Certiorari Services with Connecticut Property Tax Appeal Representation

December 8, 2025

Cullen and Dykman has expanded its tax certiorari services to include representation in Connecticut property tax appeals, responding to the needs of clients who own and operate properties across the greater New York–New Jersey–Connecticut region.

Property taxes often represent one of the largest expenses associated with owning or occupying real estate. In today’s economic environment, where operating costs continue to rise, ensuring that assessments are fair and accurate is increasingly important. As municipalities seek to generate revenue, property owners should take steps to protect their rights and evaluate whether their property is assessed appropriately.

Connecticut’s appeal process is time-sensitive. Failure to timely file can result in an excessive property tax burden with limited or no opportunity for relief. Cullen and Dykman’s tax certiorari attorneys are available to assist property owners in reviewing assessments and, where appropriate, pursuing appeals.

The Connecticut grievance filing deadline is February 20, 2026.
