Virginia Harper is an associate in the Construction Litigation practice group.  Her practice includes defense litigation related to New York State Labor Law, construction defect and transportation liability, representing property owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, sub-contractors, and municipal entities.  Virginia’s experience includes all aspects of litigation through trial, appeal, and petitions for review to state and federal Supreme Courts. She has also represented clients in Alternative Dispute Resolution, including arbitrations and mediations. Virginia’s engineering background makes her a skilled advocate in defending cases with technical issues concerning structures, equipment, machinery and other instrumentalities.

In addition to construction accident litigation, Virginia has extensive experience in defending corporations in personal injury actions arising from aviation and maritime accidents, product liability injuries, and premise liability accidents. Virginia has also represented corporate clients before federal and agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration and the Consumer Products Safety Division, as well as the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.  In addition, Virginia has experience in estate litigation, planning and administration.
