Timothy A. Chorba Jr. is an associate of the Albany litigation practice of the firm, where he handles a broad range of matters in Federal and New York state court involving commercial, contract, construction, insurance, and employment litigation; arbitration; and proceedings against governmental entities.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim was an associate in Milbank LLP’s Litigation & Arbitration Group in New York City, where he focused on cost-of-insurance (COI) litigation in the life insurance industry, including class action defense work, and was a pro bono fellow at LatinoJustice PRLDEF in New York City.
Tim graduated from the JD/MBA program Georgetown University, where he was an Executive Senior Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law and a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Ketanji Jackson, United States District Judge for the District of Columbia. During law school, Tim was also a student attorney in the civil division of D.C. Law Students in Court, where he represented clients in housing and eviction cases in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Prior to law school, Tim served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco.
