Erik J. Wortmann is an associate in Cullen and Dykman’s Banking and Financial Services practice, where he advises financial institutions and commercial clients on a range of real estate and lending transactions.
He represents lenders, sellers, and purchasers in residential and commercial real estate matters, including purchase and sale transactions, financings, and related transactional work. His experience includes advising institutional clients on ongoing portfolio matters and managing client relationships as an account manager.
In addition, Mr. Wortmann represents creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, providing practical guidance on enforcement and recovery strategies.
Earlier in his career, he served as a municipal prosecutor, gaining valuable courtroom and litigation experience that informs his transactional practice.
