Cullen and Dykman Lawyers Lecture at 12th Annual Institute on Public Utility Law
May 27, 2011On May 17, 2011, Deborah Franco and Bruce Miller lectured at the 12th Annual Institute on Public Utility Law at the New York State Bar Association in Albany, NY, a full day continuing legal education course co-chaired by Ms. Franco and co-sponsored by the New York State Bar Association’s Business Law Section’s Public Utility Law Committee, the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Continuing Legal Education and the New York Chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association. The Institute’s faculty included in-house corporate counsel, government agencies and leading law firms. The curriculum included the latest developments in the areas of energy and telecommunication regulation and practice. Mr. Miller participated on a panel that focused on New York rate case trends, offering the utility perspective on emerging ratemaking developments. Ms. Franco participated on a panel involving public utility practice ethics, focusing her discussion on New York’s ex parte rules in New York Public Service Commission proceedings.
