Sharlene Cubelo is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights department, where she focuses her practice on all aspects of complex restructurings and related litigation. Sharlene also works closely with the firm’s Intellectual Property group, advising on trademark and copyright protection, and assists the Corporate department with entity formations as well as a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining the firm, Sharlene received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School where she served as the President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. While in law school, she interned for the Hon. Kurt Kramer at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, and served as a student attorney for the Rutgers Law School Immigration Clinic, where she gained practical experience representing and advocating for clients on a pro bono basis.
Sharlene also participated in the firm’s unique fellowship program with New Jersey American Water, where she gained the experience and perspective of an in-house attorney working in the Legal Department of New Jersey American Water.
