Patricia E. Russo-Owen is a partner in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services department. She represents banks, direct lenders and other financial institutions in the financing of many asset classes. She represents clients in mortgage banking and financing transactions, primarily loans secured by multi-family and commercial real estate in New York, New Jersey, and other states and other commercial transactions. Patricia also provides representation in constructing lending matters, unsecured financing transactions, loan syndications and lender participations and the purchase and sale of mortgage loans.
Patricia actively engages in the drafting and negotiation of loan documentation for institutional lending clients, and her experience includes representing clients in loan restructurings, workouts, sales of bank-owned property, and other commercial contract matters. Patricia also advises clients with regards to loan modifications and foreclosures.
In addition to her twenty years of transactional practice, Patricia has practiced in the area of commercial foreclosure litigation with a focus on real estate and commercial lending disputes in New York and New Jersey.
