The Firm is seeking to add a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to its Commercial Loan Transaction Banking team in our Uniondale, Long Island office. Candidate will be assisting in the coordination of commercial loan closing activities.
Job duties:
- – Obtains, assembles, and organizes documents pertinent to transaction closings;
- – Collects, analyzes and evaluates information;
- – Assists in the preparation and processing of mortgage assignments and satisfactions;
- – Drafts supporting loan documents, reports, memoranda and correspondence;
- – Maintains filing systems;
- – Assist attorneys in organizing and carrying out special projects as assigned; and performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
- – 2+ years relevant experience;
- – Four-year college degree;
- – Strong academic background;
- – Must be conscientious, organized, detail-oriented and a team player;
- – Must be able to assume immediate responsibility and prioritize assignments;
- – Ability to work independently and multi-task required;
- – Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential;
- – Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel necessary.

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $45,000-$65,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
