Partner Elizabeth Aboulafia Quoted in Newsday Article

Elizabeth Aboulafia, a partner in the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights department, was recently quoted in a Newsday article titled "Refunds Key to Facility Bid” regarding her representation of an “Ad Hoc Residents Group” comprised of over 50 former and current residents of The Harborside, a bankrupt continuing care retirement community in Port Washington, New York. The article discusses the Bankruptcy Judge’s order that Ms. Aboulafia be consulted in ongoing discussions regarding the proposed purchase of The Harborside and the resolution of over $100 million in entrance fee refunds due to the former and current residents whom she represents.
