Thomas C. Mackasek is a partner in the firm’s Trusts and Estates department. He practices in the area of estate planning, working closely with his clients to prepare wills, trusts, and related documents for comprehensive and integrated estate plans. Thomas also represents and advises fiduciaries in connection with the administration and taxation of trusts and estates, including the preparation of probate and administration petitions, judicial accounts, disclaimers, funding of trusts, and federal and state estate and income tax returns. Additionally, Thomas represents clients in estate tax audits, and he is counsel to several private foundations and charitable trusts.
