Maria A. Gomez is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Corporate departments as well as a member of the firm’s Higher Education practice group. Maria works with educational institutions on various matters, including academic and student affairs, student and employee discipline, federal and state compliance, discrimination and harassment claims, disability accommodations, residential life, policy development and implementation, tenure, termination and promotion, governance, and internal grievance procedures.

While in law school, Maria served as the Managing Director of the St. John’s Moot Court Honor Society and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Maria participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program during law school and joined Cullen and Dykman LLP after graduating in 2019. Before law school, Maria was a paralegal at an immigration law firm on Long Island.
