Josh Cortavarria is an associate in the Construction Litigation practice group.
Before joining Cullen & Dykman, Josh was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Josh prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor cases between 2017 and 2020.
Following his time as an Assistant District Attorney, Josh joined a civil defense firm where he focused on defending a Fortune 500 company in premises liability cases.
Josh then joined a criminal defense firm, where he handled multiple misdemeanor and felony cases. During his time as a criminal defense attorney, Josh co-chaired a criminal trial and his client was acquitted on all charges.
