Joseph A. Fortunato is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation department. His practice consists of representing construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and property owners in commercial, construction, and insurance coverage litigation.

Prior to joining Cullen and Dykman, Joseph served as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, where he managed an extensive caseload and served as the lead prosecutor in several trials. During law school, Joseph worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for Southern District of New York and competed in numerous Moot Court and Trial Competitions, including the prestigious National Trial Competition where he received an award for his closing argument. He also served as Senior Editor for the Pace International Law Review.
