John G. Cosgrove is an associate in the firm’s General, Tort and Insurance Litigation department.  John concentrates his practice on the defense of businesses in a variety of general liability disputes, including personal injury, negligence, premises liability, property damage and transportation liability cases.

Prior to joining Cullen & Dykman, John worked for a regional insurance defense litigation firm representing businesses, individuals and governmental entities in casualty, construction, healthcare and professional liability matters.

While in law school, John served as a judicial intern for Hon. David B. Cohen of Supreme Court, New York County, and litigated in regional mock trial competitions as a member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute at St. John’s University School of Law.  John also served as the Treasurer of the Catholic Law Student’s Association.
