Herbert B. Bennett is a partner in the firm’s Environmental department. His practice focuses primarily on environmental regulatory and litigation matters, including due diligence, permitting, corporate, and real estate transactions, and remedial activities and requirements imposed pursuant to the New Jersey Spill Compensation Control Act and Water Pollution Control Act. He also routinely represents clients in federal Superfund matters, including representing entities named at Superfund sites by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and serving as liaison counsel in Superfund litigation. Herbert has also served as a mediator in environmental litigation in New Jersey state court.
