Dejon C. Delpino is an associate in the firm’s General Liability, Tort and Insurance Defense department. Her practice focuses on the litigation of personal injury matters including premises liability, automobile liability, and labor law. She is dedicated to providing her clients with the highest level of representation on each and every case. Prior to joining Cullen & Dykman, Dejon focused her practice on the defense of liability cases brought against insurance companies and self-insured entities. She gained previous experience in the litigation of construction accidents, automobile, trip and fall cases and coverage disputes. Dejon is also particularly knowledgeable in the area of New York's No-Fault law and has successfully defended thousands of No-Fault claims and issued coverage opinions on more than one hundred No-fault policy coverage disputes. Prior to beginning her career in litigation, Dejon taught Legal Research and Writing to international graduate students as an adjunct professor at Temple University's Beasley School of law.

Representative Experience

  • Obtained dismissal of personal injury case stemming from an automobile accident involving a taxicab and the insured’s commercial vehicle via motion to dismiss for failure to obtain personal jurisdiction over the insured. The Statute of Limitations had expired and the action could not be filed again.
